Let's Go Academy is looking for one English teacher
to start in mid-December.
This start date is flexible. To qualify for a position
at Let's Go Academy, a
candidate
must have a Bachelors Degree from an accredited university
in England,
the U.S., Canada, Australia, South
Africa or New Zealand (this requirement is due
to current Korean E-2 Visa rules).
Candidates with degrees in education are
given preference.
Each of our English teachers is responsible
for co-development of teaching plans
with our Korean instructors and is responsible for administering their classroom.
The
Academy provides all materials, books, and a general teaching plan for each
class level. Within these parameters our
English teachers are given significant
latitude in running their classes, however, they
are expected to adhere to our
curricula. There are no split-shifts or weekend classes at Let's Go
Academy.
The current salary is two point two
million won per month with a negotiable
per
month bonus for an accredited teacher with experience
in Korea. We also provide
a vacation allowance. The Academy provides an apartment,
which includes
western
style bedroom and living room furniture, refrigerator,
television, air
conditioner and access to a computer with internet hookup.
Each apartment has
its own private bath and kitchen area.
The Academy will pay for airfare from the
teacher's current resident country to
Seoul, Korea and return airfare to
the teacher's home country upon the successful
completion of the teacher's contract. At the completion
of a twelve month contract
there is a one month bonus payment.
The Academy is a qualified E-2 visa
sponsor and will sponsor and cover the expenses of the E-2 visa.
